Clarity in Science Editing and Writing will consider native English-speaking, experienced PhDs to work for us part time as freelance editors. This is a great way to improve your skill in writing and editing scientific papers while adding to your income as a postdoctoral fellow or research scientist. The successful candidate should have completed his/her PhD in a life sciences field and have at least one publication in a US or European English-language journal. We will ask you to complete a test edit so we can observe your skill and style of editing, and you will have to complete a confidentiality contract. Tell us how much work you expect you can complete each month and we will attempt to accommodate you. You are considered self-employed, so taxes are not withheld, and you will be paid on the first of the month after the work is completed.
